March is known as Women’s History Month. It’s a concentrated time to highlight the accomplishments and contributions of women from all over the world. This year, the Smithsonian is showcasing the #IfThenSheCan exhibit on and around the National Mall in Washington, DC, from March 5-27th. The exhibition features 120 3D-printed statues of women innovators in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math)
The hashtag “#IfThenSheCan” is used to say, “if she can see it, then she can be it.” Another example of Moore of You, LLC fundamentals of Representation Matters.
This exhibit represents women from all walks of life, & each of them has a short bio you can read to learn about their contributions to the STEM field and even connect with them. There were many women of color included in the exhibit too ❤️ Don’t worry if you can’t make it to D.C. to see the exhibit; check it out at https://ifthenexhibit.org/.
