That’s right! Moore of You, LLC is a year old this week!
I can’t believe it’s been a year…time flies when you are having fun AND when you are growing!
Here are 3 things I have learned over this year as an entrepreneur.
1. Network, Network, Network
I can’t express how important it is and has been for me to have a network. For someone who cringes at starting new conversations with strangers, I had to come out of my comfort zone. I relied on my immediate contacts to introduce me to new contacts. I made calls, set up meetings and let my skills do the rest.
Moore of You, LLC secured corporate and individual clients in the first year! This is large in part to networking. Nobody knows you are there if you don’t tell them and tell them again.
2. Stay True to Who You Are
I have received advice from several people and most with good intentions. I respect their opinions, but bounce it off of the question, “Does this fit my vision for Moore Of You?” If not, then I move on. If it does, I use it. This holds true for advice from family, friends and corporate connections.
3. Where There Is A Will There Is A Way
I would be reminisced if I didn’t say that my faith has truly given me the strength to manage a marriage, family, a full time corporate job and starting my own business. There’s definitely prayer and a will in getting it all done. Not every answer is a “yes”, but that doesn’t mean I stop. I continue to focus on the “yes”.
Moore Of You, LLC will continue to strive to bring “moore” of you to life.
I thank all of those who have supported through liking, sharing and commenting on posts. I also give a special thank you to those who mention my name in rooms that I am not present and refer my company. THANK YOU!
One year down and many to go!
