This week’s Monday Minute is dedicated to the upcoming holiday season.
As we get closer to Christmas, many companies are closing their offices for extended periods of time. With that being said, please take time make your personal holiday plans which should include time to relax, reflect and refocus.
Remember, not everyone is going into this time of year with joy, but we have to be intentional of how we set our minds.
Here are a few tips to help you remember Relax, Reflect and Refocus:
RELAX
Try watching TV shows or movies that bring joy. Consider your favorite Christmas or childhood movie to enjoy.
Give yourself a facial. You would be surprised how taking time to care for your skin can boost your mood.
REFLECT
Create a joy journal or write down 10 things that bring you joy. They can be memories, talking to friends or doing a craft.
Think over the little and big accomplishments. Consider when you graduated school or even a great health report from the doctor.
REFOCUS
Disconnect & unplug from your phone, TV, etc. and spend some time in your mind redefining what you set your intentions on.
Refocus on what’s really important to you. Consider what brings you joy, what challenges you and what motivates you…these are all great places to start creating 2021 goals.
