When you dream, consider all the connections to and through you that are impacted. You can’t solely focus on yourself. That would be too small. Think of the people you can mentor, coach and even sponsor. Not just at work, but also in your community. Everyone has a dream, don’t make it too small. You never know, you may be someone’s inspiration and motivation to keep going. Even your failures and how you bounce back from them are motivation.
I’m sure there are young ladies now inspiring to be directors and filmmakers like Ava DuVernay because they see her living out her dream.
