MONDAY MINUTE: It’s important to stay in a season of learning. You need to consider reading books, articles, attending conferences, joining professional organizations or interest groups. Not only to stay current in your field, but to keep your mind sharp. I’ve learned some great tips not just from things I’ve read, but APPLYING them and TALKING to people.
What should you learn?
1. Your market (your company’s information, competitors and customers).
2. Platforms, software and tools in your field.
3. Soft skills – emotional intelligence, networking, goal setting, etc.
4. Business and World News – subscribe to online platforms to get quick articles and news of the world events. Consider picking up a book of a successful person to learn tips and skills that helped catapult their career.
Talking about those topics comes in different forms. If you are unsure of how to start conversations, use the topics previously mentioned. Highlight questions you had while learning or insight you gained.
Moore Of You, LLC stresses the importance of learning and networking. We provide training and workshops geared to inspiring and reengaging you in different aspects of learning.
